KNOW THE FACTS
Hard working, dependable and highly motivated professional and LGBT advocate. I enjoy a challenge and problem-solving situations to improve Erie's economy, safety and quality of life. I am engaged with the public on current issues and to promote treatment that is fair and balanced for all walks of life. My work is always consistent with the highest standards possible with community development and citizenship. My goal is to be elected as Erie's first openly LGBT City Councilmen who is up for the challenge to balance the budget, comply with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Third Class City Code and to always work with all government agencies, non-profits organizations, educational institutes, corporations and all faiths to excel Erie in the Commonwealth, the United States of America and the World. My goal is to take back our status as the third largest city in the Commonwealth and to cross the 100,000 mark in Erie's population with sustaining, retaining and gaining new citizens.
Education

Our public, private, vocational and higher education institutes are the best in the nation. I believe in Pre-K till they can walk across that stage with a degree in one hand from anyone of our higher education universities, colleges, vocational institutes and ready to work in Erie with their talents and skills.  We must engage the future early and lead them to the best tools to give them hope and to make their dreams come true with learning with science, technology, literature, mathematics and the abc's of life. The future begins here in Erie Pennsylvania.

Health/Housing

Erie's blights have been the big elephant in all of the conversations I have experienced across the City. Affordable and healthy housing is one of the fundamentals of life we must all have. Housing and Healthcare go hand and hand. How so? A healthy happy home is where the heart is.

Erie has top notch healthcare with hospitals and agencies who deals with a holistic approach to healthcare. As someone who deals with mental health each and every day, I understand and would like those residents in the City of Erie to have access to all health care. Raising the awareness for all families to have a healthy stable mind is key to that happy healthy heart.  Access to healthcare on my priority list.

Living in a house that is affordable and safe would provide families and the residents a better quality of life they deserve and I will fight for affordable housing, blight-free Erie, and a healthier community. When Erie families are healthy and live in homes that are healthy it is a win-win for all.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs

Erie's diverse workforce is stronger than everything from manufacturing to minimum wage jobs. From working at General Electric in McDonald's.  Erie has a thriving economy in all fields. Our workforce is the veins in which beat throughout the City. At the heart of it, all are the employees who work within t he City of Erie. My mission as your City Councilmen is to continue to sustain jobs, to retain jobs, to gain jobs and to fight for those who proudly stamp "Made In Erie!"

Erie's economy is on the brink of erasing that stigma that has plagued the City and region for decades with Refocused Erie, Emerge 2040 and Downtown Erie's Partnership Masterplans. 12th Street will be thriving, our majestic Bayfront will come alive and good paying skilled work will take us over that thresh hold. My mission is to decrease the unemployment and increase the population with jobs, jobs, and more jobs.  I have a 5050 Compromise Tax Blight Plan.

Diversity

Erie's population is currently under the 100,000 mark but more than 10,000 residents who have settled here in the past decade that are from a diverse background call Erie home. I will reach out to all residents to understand the struggles of all residents who call Erie home sweet home. As a member of Erie's LGBT community, Erie's LGBT community makes up a small part of this vibrate All-American city. I celebrate each member of my community as they are working, living and playing in an LGBT friendly city. I have my Erie's Equality Plan to put into action.

My plan is to celebrate what we currently have, to welcome those from all walks of life and instruct all new resident legally how to make Erie Pennsylvania their hometown.  As an Erieite born and raised I am proud of the many different cultures that make Erie and what Erie has always been. We have become a melting pot of the world.  We are and will always be an All-American City. If you care, love and have hope in Erie then you are an Erieite. Welcome To Erie!

Safety

My top priority for the 100,000 residents that call Erie home sweet home would be safety and security of our international border city. From our Border Patrol, Emergency Personnel, Fire Fighters, and our Law Enforcement Officers, my plan is to build trust between those who serve and to protect to those who live within the City of Erie borders.

My plan is to make sure those who do serve and protect have what it takes to do their job professionally. My plan is to address the concerns of those who are willing to come together with the mindset that working through peace, faith, hope and love is a basic fundamental way of life. Working with the Neighborhood Watches and Bayfront Tasks Forces will be the best way to making things work for all.
